The itinerary combines three well-known hikes in the Western and Karakoram Himalayas. The first section reaches the Raikot Face of Nanga Parbat via Fairy Meadows—a relatively easy climb with mesmerizing alpine meadows. From Fairy Meadow, the view of Nanga Parbat is once-in-a-lifetime and will leave trekkers enchanted.
The second section is a short trek from Minapin Village to Rakaposhi Base Camp (Tagaphari). This easy trail provides panoramic views of Rakaposhi, Diran, Batura, Passu, Shishpar, and Ultar peaks, as well as the Minapin Glacier. A 30-minute ascent from Tagaphari to a ridge offers some of the most spectacular views of the Karakoram.
The final section takes trekkers to Rash Phari (“Shiny Lake”). This trek combines glaciers, local settlements, terraced fields, and a stunning view from Rush Peak (5098m). It’s a thrilling experience and a recommended first-time adventure in the Karakoram.
